A certified Nutrition and Health Coach based in Melbourne. I am also completing a Bachelor of Health Science Clinical Nutrition. Life is busy with work and study, throw motherhood in the mix as well, which is why I am so passionate about living a healthy sustainable lifestyle. I love to feel energised and in tune with my body. When I feel energised and in tune with myself, that is when I feel and perform my best. Waking up before 5am every day, straight into my morning routine is what makes me happy and excited to take on the day ahead.
My own health journey has had a few twists and turns. I have suffered on and off bloating for years. In late August 2022, I underwent emergency laparoscopic surgery for a 6.5cm ovarian cystadenoma!! During emergency surgery, it was also discovered I had endometriosis, which was also removed during surgery. Recovery was challenging the first week but slowly I returned to my usual active self.
And yes I will admit I have fallen down the rabbit hole of diet culture. Are you ready for my list?… (cringe) …. juice cleanses, raw food diet, the 1200 calories, the bikini competition, calorie obsessed, the South Beach Diet, swapping meals for baby food, diet teas, sucked into low calorie this and that products, I think that is all!
I have burnt both ends of the candle in terms of weight from “dieting hard” for a fitness competition to reaching my heaviest in Melbourne’s tough lockdowns.
No matter how busy our lives are, all women deserve to be at their best, and I am here to show you how to reach optimal health. Every day we are surrounded with information about weight loss and quick health fixes, well I am telling you it is time to break up with DIET CULTURE for good! Health looks different and feels different for every one of us, we are all our own unique composition.
With simple swaps, sustainable habits, the right knowledge, tools to guide you, a realist approach, and identifying triggers, it’s time to build a new healthy relationship with food. And yes you can enjoy all the foods you love without restriction.
