Christmas shopping we either love it or hate it! The one time of year we all get a little bit cray cray, unless you are one of those super organised people who have it all finished by November! Definitely not me!I recently teamed up with TK Maxx to head into my local TK Maxx store for a Christmas shopping challenge. The challenge to bring you all the amazing stocking stuffers for kids for under $150. I will admit I got a little bit excited with my little Christmas helpers and we may have gone a little overboard. One thing for sure though TK Maxx is your go to store for all your Christmas shopping.
If you have not heard of TK Maxx, they are one of the newest international retailers to hit our shores! They are known for selling big brands for a much smaller price. From designer clothing, handbags, childrenswear, homewares, accessories and more TK Maxx has it all.
At TK Maxx, we deliver exceptional value on an ever-changing selection of big brand, designer and high-quality fashion apparel and home wares, for a whole lot less than department or high street stores, every single day.
Each TK Maxx store you visit will vary in the range of brands and products and the selection is constantly changing. The stores receive several deliveries per week in the lead up to Christmas, so there is always something new and exciting to discover! You can read more on how TK Maxx “do it” here.
I visited TK Maxx Heidelberg located in Warringal Shopping Centre. The store had only been open maybe just over a week when I visited. A simple no frills layout that it is very easy to navigate around. Everything was very easy to find. I will say though it is worth having a really thorough look to find any “hidden” treasures. Whilst I was shopping in the toy section one of the store team was unboxing a new box. As she was unpacking I was getting my hands on some of the brand new pieces that had arrived in store. (She was also very super helpful).
From educational toys, puzzles, books, wooden toys and, well known “characters”, there was a wide range of stocking stuffers for kids of all ages, even for the youngest ones. If shopping for a baby or toddler I recommend checking out the baby section too. That is where I found some princess sippy cups and the mealtime ranges available were gorgeous!
As a mum of girls I am sorry to say I picked out majority “girly” pieces. But if you are shopping for boys trust me the variety is just as huge. I actually went back for a second trip to pick some stocking stuffers for my nephews! And don’t forget to browse the shelves as you are waiting at checkout. That is where I found little trains which make perfect stocking stuffers for kids.
STOCKING STUFFERS FOR KIDS UNDER $150
What was in my stocking stuffers for kids haul? My shop came to $149.25! My husband was blown away when I came home and showed him!
3pack Washable Markers// Wooden Mixer // Aurora Long Locks Princess // Rapunzel Long Locks Princess // Sticker Playtime // 2 pack Princess Cups // Wooden Stacking Puzzle Blocks // Jewell Necklace // Timothy Train // Edward Train // Town Set // Dog Lip balm Balls // Amber Carriage // Sofia and Clover Set
and this Minnie Bowtastic Kitchen Set ($24.95)
This was actually probably one of my best finds. I was blown away on how well priced this whole set was. My girls are Minnie crazy and you will always find them playing in the toy kitchen. It is super cute and I am sure they will be playing with all this for hours on end! Perfect sizes to fill up the Christmas Stocking with
Amber Carriage // Sofia and Clover Set
These little sets and Dog Lip Balms (in the background) make great small gifts for any little friends. Gifts that definitely won’t break the budget these were all under $7 each. For the boys you can spot the little train in the background. There were many trains and cars all under $5 each for the boys which would be perfect little gifts.
As mentioned above don’t forget to pop into the baby section. It is where I found a twin pack of princess cups for only $4.95. Along with pretty necklaces fit for any princess.
Back into the toy section with a large assortment of books and activity books most under $10! I chose a sticker activity book for Aria. As we are driving interstate for Christmas these are great for keeping her entertained in the car.
TK MAXX THIS CHRISTMAS
TK Maxx is definitely worth heading into this Christmas for all your needs without breaking your budget. Not only just for the stocking stuffers for kids, there is a huge of variety for the adults. Plus so many gorgeous Christmas decorations, Christmas wrapping, homewares, beauty and clothing all so reasonably priced.
I am certain I will be making my third trip back very soon to purchase for the rest of the family.
