Happy Friday! Hello first day of summer. Although you wouldn’t think it is summer with the gloomy day we have had here. In the blink of an eye November is gone. Honestly where did that month go? Sharing with you my November Roundup of all happenings from the gram. I don’t even know to where to begin it has been a huge month of high and lows, you never know just what life will throw at you!
From our house selling and to my Grandfather passing it has been a whirlwind of a month. Two long car trips to Adelaide, our girls did very well in the car. I now have plenty of tips to share soon on how we manage log car trips. Three more weeks till we drive off again!
In amongst the whirlwind of a month, we had a family day out at Luna Park and then feasted on the best burgers at California Burgers. From Melbourne to Adelaide we wandered the city checking out the Christmas decorations. This has become one of our favourite things to do each Christmas, now a tradition! We shared three favourite playgrounds where we hang out, see our picks here if you missed it! I dabbled in the creative side of vlogging sharing an insight into a “day in the life”. In all have kept the November roundup pretty basic as I have focused more on Christmas in the city for this piece!
NOVEMBER ROUNDUP HIGHLIGHTS
To kickstart off the November roundup I was asked by the gorgeous ladies at Bella Box to pop into to HQ for a fun project! The live unboxing of the November Bella Baby Box. As you may know I have been a huge fan of Bella Baby Box for quite some time now. It was an honour to be invited in and be part of the unboxing! I am actually super excited to share I will be heading back in to participate in the December unboxing next week so stay tuned.
You can check out the November unboxing here
Now it must have been the month for firsts! Along with the above I also shared my first vlog A Day In The Life. This was a fun project I worked in collaboration with a few other bloggers sharing an insight into a day in our lives! As daunting as it was I had so much fun with the vlog experience, so much that I dabbled into a little more vlogging. Sharing a day out to one of favourite playgrounds in the article Melbourne Playgrounds.
CHRISTMAS AROUND MELBOURNE
Melbourne at this time of year I absolutely love it. Who doesn’t? All the buildings are so pretty and magical, decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations. This year has been even more exciting as Aria is at an age where she is completely aware of what is happening. Aria gets so excited over all the Christmas decorations with a constant “wow” and “look at those Christmas decorations” coming from her! Visiting the Myer Christmas Windows has become one of our family traditions, along with venturing around the city and Crown Complex to view all the pretty Christmas sights. We are actually planning another evening to pop back into the city to visit again!
I recommend wandering through the Block Arcade and Royal Arcade
For the fashionistas, (particularly Disney lovers) this is one for you to get excited over. You may remember last Christmas the spectacular Mickey Christmas Tree on display at Emporium Melbourne. This year Emporium has a touch of Disney again with the celebration of 80 years of Snow White. The incredible Paolo Sebastian has collaborated together with Disney to bring you the couture collection “Once Upon A Dream”. A stunning collection of couture dresses inspired by Disney. With hundreds of meters of tulle used, intricate beading, handcrafted embroidery and many hours of work put in this is not one to be missed! This is on view at Emporium Melbourne from now till throughout Christmas.
CHRISTMAS AROUND ADELAIDE
Lastly whilst we were away in Adelaide we did head into the city. I am so glad we did as Adelaide CBD is always a lot of fun. There is just something about the vibe of Rundle Mall we love. There is buskers, performers, coffee carts, crepe carts, flower stands, the iconic “pigs” and so much more. Mostly I love how I can let the girls walk around out of the pram and not worry about any tram tracks going through the middle of the mall! Rundle Mall was certainly buzzing with Christmas spirit. We do have a little visit planned for them to the Magic Cave when we are back!
Till next month,
